The 2012 Worlwide Sandyachting Championships,
Both a communication tool and a business development tool

You will be far more than just a «sponsor»! The Organisation Committee of 2012 Worldwide Sandyachting Championships offers you the possibility of becoming a real actor during the 2012 Worldwide Sandyachting Championships!

Taking place during summer from 8 to 15 July 2012, in the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel, one of the most beautiful areas in the world and listed by UNESCO, 2012 Worldwide Sandyachting Championships will be the unique opportunity to gather for the first time the 9 classes of sandyachts federated by FISLY and attract a very large number of viewers and spectators never reached before in a sandyachting competition.

Almost 400 pilots and 24 worldwide delegations will then sail away on the sand of the Bay of the Mont-Saint-Michel.

Brittany for men and women with many challenges

Besides the fact that Brittany is clearly identified as the most important French League by the number of its registered pilots, the main characteristic of our organization lays in its regional aspect.

Indeed, it is the rising common desire, as described in our 2008-2012 project, which gave birth to the submission of Cherrueix site application, through the French Federation of Sandyachting, on the one hand, the Brittany League of Sandyachting, on the other hand, the Center of Sandyachting/Noroît Sailing Club together with the Townhall of Cherrueix, hosting these 13th Worldwide Championships.

The wish to organize such an international event in Cherrueix is, for us all, the natural outcome of the development of sandyachting practice in the Bay of the Mont Saint-Michel and the results obtained by our regional pilots.

Noroît Sailing Club which will host the event has been endeavouring to relay, at best, the Federation politics and policies established for the last ten years. It always tries to be in the forefront of things and has shown, on many occasions, its capacity at gathering forces and organizing logistics during competitions and Federation promotional events.

The Breton synergy is not an empty word: we want to show the values of working together and at the same time improving this tremendous tool of development that 2012 Wordlwide Sandyachting Championships are.
